Biography

JUSTIN HILL is the Resident Music Director of the Way Off Broadway Theater Company in Fairfield, and also the Executive Creative Director of Hill Productions, Inc., in Bloomfield, IA.Performer, director and instructor, he performs in churches and for community events throughout the Midwest and teaches a full studio of voice, violin, cello, piano, and songwriting students. Throughout the years Justin has released 4 recordings of his own, but is responsible for producing and performing on dozens of other releases.

Stage and Directorial credits include: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Godspell, The Wizard of Oz,Kiss Me Kate, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Showboat,Annie Get Your Gun, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.

Justin has worked as music director/conductor for dozens of shows, including the first tour of the hit New York show, Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) and the workshop production of Happy Hour with George Furth and Doug Katsaros. He has also written, arranged, and orchestrated extensively for the theater and orchestras throughout the country,including The Channel Island Chamber Orchestra, the reviews Broadway Serenade and Christmas Cheer for the Old Creamery Theatre, Opening Night:A Tribute to Broadway, Music Most Foul, Open Heart, Banjo Boy, and A Time Out of Rhyme, his first original show with collaborator Randal K. West which recently enjoyed its West Coast Premiere.

Justin also works as manager, musical director, and arranger for his wife and professional singer/actress, Diana Upton-Hill, and her 15 piece Pop Orchestra.

Together they own andoperate Hill Productions, Inc., which manages Diana’s tour creation andproduction,and Third Floor Records, an independent music label.
